How to Apply for Obong University Post UTME Form

Applicant Eligible for Obong University Post UTME Screening

1. Admission to the University is open to all qualified candidates, regardless of religion, ethnic group, gender, race, disability, or political affiliation.

2. Admission to the University is granted only through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry via the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

3. To be eligible for admission to Obong University, all prospective students must meet the following general requirements:

For admission through 100 level (UTME),

Candidates must: I. Have five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent in relevant subjects at no more than two sittings.

 II. Achieve satisfactory scores in the UTME for the relevant subjects.

For admission to 200 level (Direct Entry),

Candidates should: In addition to the five SSCE credit passes mentioned in (3) i above, candidates must meet one of the following requirements: 

• Achieve a minimum of two A-level passes (or their equivalent) in relevant subjects, 
• Possess an NCE, GCE A-level, OND, or HND with credit or merit passes, or 
• Hold a good first degree in a relevant field, as applicable.

  4. To be admitted into most courses, it is essential to have credit passes in both English Language and Mathematics.

  5. The JAMB cut-off mark for Obong University for the 2025/2026 academic session is 140 points.
