How to Apply for IUO Post UTME Form

• To begin your application process, please visit the official admissions portal of Igbinedion University at https://iuokada.waeup.org.
• To proceed with your application, please click the “Register” button in the top left corner of this page.
• Provide your First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Phone Number. Your ID and Password will be sent to your email. To proceed, click on the link provided in the email.
• To access your account on iuokada.waeup.org, navigate to the top right corner of the homepage and click on ‘Login.’
• Enter your username and password in the appropriate fields to access your account.
• To start the application process, click on ‘Application Record‘ and enter the required details. Make sure to upload your passport photo.
• Provide all necessary information and upload a clear photograph of your passport.
• Upload a recent, clear, and colored passport photo measuring 1 inch by 1 inch.
• The only acceptable identification for all admitted candidates during their time at Igbinedion University, Okada, will be the uploaded photograph.
• To make a payment for your application, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Add online payment ticket.” Next, select “Pay with…” Interswitch or Etransact, which is located in the top left corner of the page. Follow the instructions to pay the application fee using a valid ATM-enabled card from any commercial bank in Nigeria if you choose Interswitch. Alternatively, you can print out the payment ticket and take it to your preferred bank to pay with Etransact.
• Review and confirm all information before submitting your application online.

Applicant Eligible for IUO Post UTME Screening

• To be eligible for admission into four-year disciplines and five- or six-year professional programs, candidates must have a minimum of five credits from the GCE, WAEC, SSCE, NECO, or SSCE/NABTEB examinations. These credits must include English Language and Mathematics, achieved in no more than two sittings.  Furthermore, candidates applying for admission into the Law program must have at least a credit pass in Literature in English. Those awaiting their GCE, NECO, SSCE, WAEC, or SSCE/NABTEB results are encouraged to apply as long as their results will be available by September when the new session begins.

• Candidates may also apply for admission into the 200 level of degree programs, excluding Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, and Law, with the following qualifications:

1. Students must pass at least two subjects at the Advanced level and one additional subject at the subsidiary level in the General Certificate of Education Examination.
2. Diploma or NCE with a credit level pass in relevant subjects from an accredited institution.
3. The IJMB program focuses on relevant subjects.
4. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
5. To qualify, candidates must meet matriculation requirements, which include five credit passes in the GCE, WAEC SSCE, NECO SSCE, or NABTEB Certificate examinations.

Applicants must provide proof of their application to JAMB.

UTME Requirement

To gain entry into the esteemed institutions of higher learning in Nigeria, candidates are required to undertake the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Success in this examination hinges on meeting the specified cut-off marks, which serve as a crucial benchmark.

The screening schedule for the IUO Post UTME will be communicated to all eligible candidates via the email addresses and phone numbers provided during registration. It is essential to provide valid contact details during the registration process.

Note that failure to appear for the screening exercise on the scheduled dates will disqualify you from consideration for admission into any of the programs offered by the university for the 2025/2026 academic session.
