EKSU Post UTME Form 2025/2026 Is Now Available | See Eligibility and How To Apply

EKSU Post UTME Form 2025/2026: This is to inform all UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who have applied for admission to Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU), for the 2025/2026 academic session that the Post-UTME screening exercise will commence in July 2025. Please note that there will be no examination.

The University will consider UTME candidates who did not initially choose EKSU but scored 140 and above in the 2025 UTME, provided they are willing to change their first choice of institution to EKSU on the JAMB CAPS.

Ekiti State University (EKSU) will grant concessions to successful students from its Pre-Degree and JUBEB Programs under Senate approval. Candidates awaiting the results of their SSSC examinations should not apply for the PUTME screening exercise. They should apply as soon as their SSSC examination results are released.

The minimum UTME scores required by EKSU for the following courses are as follows:

  • – Mass Communication: 180
  • – Medical Laboratory Science: 220
  • – Nursing: 220
  • – Law: 240
  • – Medicine (MBBS): 250

Candidates with lower scores in any of the aforementioned courses may apply for PUTME screening into other courses of their choice and can change their first choice of institution on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission.

It’s important to note that EKSU accepts JUPEB qualifications (with a minimum of 7 points) for admission but does not accept IJMB.

Applicant Eligible for EKSU Post UTME Screening

EKSU will only admit candidates who have achieved at least five (5) Credit passes in SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB in the relevant subjects, and these credits must be obtained in no more than two (2) sittings.

For Direct Entry candidates, the following requirements must be met:

– A minimum of Upper Credit from a Polytechnic is required for Engineering programs, while a Lower Credit is acceptable for other programs.

– For MBBS and Law programs, candidates must possess a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in related fields.

– Candidates applying for Nursing Science must be registered as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

Additionally, those seeking to enroll in Education programs should have earned their NCE with Credit or Merit in relevant teaching subjects.

Direct-entry candidates interested in changing their first choice of institution to EKSU may also be considered for admission. To complete the application, Direct Entry candidates must send their transcripts to admissions.registration@eksu.edu.ng on or before September 2025; failure to do so will result in their applications not being considered.

For UTME candidates with NECO results, it is essential to submit their “Result Verification Tokens” at the Admissions Office to verify their ‘O’ Level results. Candidates without result verification tokens should visit the NECO website at http://everify.neco.gov.ng and enter this email address: admissions.verification@eksu.edu.ng when prompted.

Please note that any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission to the university. Furthermore, any false information submitted by a candidate will lead to automatic disqualification.
