UniUyo GST Portal | University of UYO Facial Biometric Registration
UniUyo GST Portal: We are writing to share an important update regarding our examination procedures for the upcoming academic session. Beginning in the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, the GST Examinations for Freshers (100-300 Level), Repeaters, and Direct Entry Students will transition to a fully computerized format. This innovative approach means you will take your exams on a computer, replacing the traditional paper-based method you’ve experienced in the past.
To ensure that you are fully prepared for this new system, all affected students must participate in a biometric data-capturing process. This important step will involve creating and securely storing a digital record of your unique physical characteristics, such as fingerprints or facial features. This biometric information will play a vital role in verifying your identity during the examination, enhancing the integrity and security of the testing environment.
We understand that adapting to this new process may feel unfamiliar for some of you; however, we assure you it is a safe, reliable, and secure method of authentication. We kindly urge you to make arrangements to have your biometric information captured at a nearby location as soon as possible.
Please be aware that students who fail to have their biometric information captured will not be permitted to sit for the examinations. We encourage you to prioritize this requirement and address it well in advance to avoid any last-minute complications. Taking these steps seriously will help ensure a smooth and successful examination experience for everyone involved.
