How to Apply for BUT Post UTME Form

• Click “Begin Application” at https://portal.bellsuniversity.edu.ng/application/ in the General Menu. On the next page, enter your UTME Registration Number.
• After reaching the next page, where your details—such as your UTME Registration Number and Full Name—are displayed, you may proceed with the payment. Please note that by continuing with this process, you are confirming the accuracy of the information you provided. You will also have a final opportunity to verify your details before completing the payment.
• Before you proceed with your payment, ensure that all your information is accurate. Remember, once a payment is completed, it is final and cannot be refunded, so take a moment to double-check.
• Upon completion of the payment process, you will be required to create an account. To do so, you must provide your email address, phone number, and a password of your choosing.
• After successfully creating an account, you can log in and complete the application form.
• Be advised that upon successful account creation, you should utilize the “Returning Applicant” link found in the General Menu. Conversely, if you have not yet completed the payment process or established an account, please proceed by selecting the “Begin Application” link.
• As a returning applicant, you can fill out the Application Form and complete the application process. After finishing the process, you can print your Application Form and payment receipt.

• Be advised that upon submission of your Application Form, you will not have the ability to modify the uploaded Passport Photograph or any other information provided. It is therefore imperative that you thoroughly verify all details and ensure that the passport you are uploading is indeed yours before submitting the Application Form.

– Ensure that there are enough funds on the card to cover the fees mentioned in this section.

To be eligible for the Post UTME screening at BUT, please be aware of the following requirements.

• Candidates who chose (BUT) as their first choice in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and met the minimum cut-off mark are eligible to apply.
• Candidates must achieve a minimum of Credit level grades in five subjects at (SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) O’ Level or its equivalent, obtained in no more than two sittings.
• Direct Entry candidates who are seeking to change their institution to BUT through JAMB with A level/OND/HND/NCE/JUPEB qualifications and have obtained the 2025 Direct Entry JAMB forms.
