UI Post UTME Form for 2025/2026: This announcement serves to inform all prospective candidates that the University of Ibadan’s admission portal will officially open for Post-UTME and Direct Entry registration starting on Monday, July 21, 2025. The registration period will remain accessible until Saturday, August 17, 2025. It is important to highlight that only candidates who achieved a score of 200 or higher in the 2025 UTME examination are eligible to participate in the Post-UTME examination.

Candidates are strongly advised to take note that the registration period is finite and will not be extended beyond the specified dates of July 21, 2025, to August 17, 2025. Therefore, candidates must complete their registration within this timeframe to ensure their participation in the admission process. Prepare your necessary documents and information in advance to facilitate a smooth registration experience.

Applicant Eligible for UI Post UTME Screening

Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old by September 30, 2025, to qualify for admission.

If you are applying to the College of Medicine or Faculty of Pharmacy, you need five (5) credits in relevant O/Level subjects from one exam sitting. For other programs, if you have two O/Level results, you need at least six (6) credits in relevant subjects.

The University of Ibadan does not accept IJMB or JUPEP for Direct Entry admission. It only accepts WAEC, NECO, Cambridge Advanced Level, NCE, ND, HND, and Degree certificates from recognized institutions. Be sure to check the list of accepted subjects for admission at the University.

How to Apply for UI Post UTME Form 2025/2026

  • To access the University of Ibadan admission portal, visit admissions.ui.edu.ng. Use your JAMB Registration Number as the username and your surname as the password.
  • Choose one of the payment options listed below to complete your transaction.
  • Complete your transaction smoothly by using your ATM card. Simply choose between the credit or debit option to proceed with your payment.”
  • Cash can be deposited at the bank using a payment printout from the portal.
  • To make a payment, please use the direct bank account debit method available through your online banking tools. After completing the payment, it is essential to print the payment success receipt. This receipt should display your full name (with your surname listed first) as it appears on your UTME result slip, as well as your JAMB registration number. Additionally, the receipt must include the payment reference number to confirm that the payment was successful.
  • After successfully making your payment, return to the school portal to submit your biodata and O-level results.
  • It is essential to complete the online registration form carefully and adhere to all instructions to prevent disqualification due to errors.
  • Please fill out the online form using ONLY CAPITAL LETTERS.
  • You must upload a clear passport photograph and signature in JPEG format. The file size must not exceed 50 KB. Please ensure that the photograph does not include glasses or any head coverings.
  • After successfully registering, it is essential to print a transaction completion receipt and keep it for future reference.

Candidates must log in to the Admission Portal (https://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng) using their JAMB Registration Number (e.g., 12345678EG) as the username and their surname as the password (e.g., Esther, Udoh, Aniekan). Note that the surname should be in lowercase.

A portal access fee of N3,000.00 and a screening fee of N2,000.00 must be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL to the University of Ibadan (Admission Processing Fee Account). Candidates should provide their telephone number and email address at the time of payment.

Payment Options:

  • Payment using a Credit or Debit Card at an ATM.
  • Use the bank portal printout to make a cash payment.
  • A direct bank account debit allows you to use your online banking tools to make payments.

Once the payment has been successfully processed, candidates must print the payment receipt for their records. Following this, they should carefully fill out the biodata form, ensuring that all information is accurate and complete. After completing the form, candidates should submit it electronically and then print a copy for their files. This ensures that they have a record of their submission for future reference.

Candidates must attend the Screening Exercise on the date, time, and location listed on the test slip they printed after registering online.
