General Admission Requirements
To qualify for admission into any postgraduate programme at SLU, applicants must meet the general matriculation requirements as well as faculty-specific regulations:

O’Level Qualifications: A minimum of five (5) credit passes—including English Language and Mathematics—in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.

NYSC Documentation: A valid NYSC Discharge Certificate, Certificate of Exemption, or official Letter of Exclusion is compulsory for all Nigerian applicants.

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD / PGDE): A Bachelor’s degree with at least a Third Class Honours from SLU or any recognized university, or a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant discipline. (Note: SLU does not accept OND plus professional certificates or Higher Diploma [HD] as an HND equivalent).
