BOSU Post UTME Form 2026/2027 Is Now Available | See Eligibility and How To Apply

BOSU Post UTME Form 2026/2027: If your objective is to gain acceptance at Borno State University (BOSU), BOSU is one of the most sought-after universities due to its regular academic schedule, peaceful surroundings, and the expansion of disciplines within computing, sciences, and humanities.

Being an experienced admissions consultant, I have helped many students apply to BOSU via the portal. Luckily, the portal is very straightforward, although not following their guidelines during online upload may result in automatic disqualification. This guide will help you navigate all the processes required for the Post-UTME and DE for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.

Applicant Eligible for BOSU Post UTME Screening

To gain access to the 2026/2027 screening portal, you must satisfy these baseline criteria:

  • Choice of Institution: You must have selected Borno State University as your first-choice institution. If you didn’t choose them initially, perform a Change of Institution on your JAMB profile early in the cycle.

  • Tiered JAMB Cut-off Marks: BOSU does not use a single flat cut-off. While the absolute baseline score required to open a file on the portal is 150, specific flagship programs enforce higher boundaries. Based on previous cycles, the expected thresholds include:

    • Medical Laboratory Science / Public Health / Physiotherapy: Usually 180 to 200+

    • Computer Science / Biochemistry / Microbiology: Usually 170+

    • Social and Management Sciences (Accounting, Business Administration, Economics): Usually 160+

    • Faculty of Education / Faculty of Arts / Pure Sciences / Agriculture: Baseline of 150+

  • O’Level Grid: A minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) obtained in not more than two sittings.

  • Direct Entry (DE) Applicants: DE candidates must possess a minimum of a Lower Credit pass in a recognized National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND), a Merit pass in NCE, or a minimum of 9 points in the IJMB Advanced Level.
