Applicant Eligible for AUI Post UTME Screening

Prospective candidates applying for admission to Augustine University must be at least 16 years old by October of the admission year.

Applicants must have completed their secondary school education and hold a minimum of five O’ Level Credit passes, achieved in one or two sittings of the West African SSCE, GCE, NECO, or an equivalent qualification. These must include credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and at least three additional subjects pertinent to the intended course of study.

UTME applicants who are awaiting their SSCE/GCE results can also apply.

  • UTME applicants must select AUI as their first choice institution in the UTME examinations for the admission year.
  • UTME applicants who did not select AUI as their first choice institution in the UTME during the admission year may still apply, but they must understand that they will need to process a change of institution on the JAMB portal before the screening. This is necessary because JAMB is the only body that grants admission to all Nigerian institutions.
  • Direct Entry (DE) applicants can also apply. Candidates must have any of the following certificates: OND, A’Level, JUPEB, or their equivalents. Additionally, they must obtain the DE form for the admission year from JAMB.

Transfer applicants from other universities must have an admission letter from their previous institution to be eligible for the transfer admission process.
