UNIOSUN Cut Off Mark 2026/2027

If you are aiming for UNIOSUN for the 2026/2027 academic session, you are choosing a university famous for its Multi-Campus System. Unlike most universities located in one town, UNIOSUN is spread across six different towns in Osun State (Osogbo, Okuku, Ikire, Ejigbo, Ifetedo, and Ipetu-Ijesha). Knowing where your course is located is the first step. We are here to provide you with the official admission stats for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year.

UNIOSUN JAMB Cut Off Mark for All Courses

The school management has officially set the UNIOSUN JAMB cut-off mark for the 2026/2027 academic session at 160.

Important Reality Check:

  • The 160 Benchmark: This is the minimum score required to purchase the Post-UTME form. If you scored 160, you are eligible to register for screening for most courses in the Faculties of Humanities, Education, and Agriculture.

  • The “Health & Law” Benchmark: UNIOSUN is extremely strict with professional courses. For Medicine, Nursing, and Law, a score of 160 is not even considered. The minimum eligibility for these courses is usually 200, but the admission cut-off is much higher.

  • First Choice Policy: UNIOSUN generally requires you to choose them as your First Choice in JAMB. If they are your Second Choice, you will likely need to do a Change of Institution to be considered.

UNIOSUN School Fees 2026/2027

UNIOSUN is known for having a slightly higher fee structure compared to older state universities, but it offers a stable calendar in return.

Estimated Fee Schedule for Freshers (100 Level):

  • Non-Science (Arts/Social Science): ~₦160,000 – ₦190,000

  • Science/Engineering: ~₦190,000 – ₦220,000

  • Nursing/Law/Med Lab: ~₦250,000 – ₦300,000

  • Medicine (MBBS): ~₦450,000 – ₦550,000

  • Acceptance Fee: ~₦40,000 (Non-refundable).

  • Note: Unlike some states, UNIOSUN often has a unified fee structure where Indigenes and Non-Indigenes pay similar rates, though specific bursaries may apply for Osun indigenes.

Does UNIOSUN Write Post UTME Exams?

No. UNIOSUN typically uses an Online Screening Method.

  1. Registration: You register on the portal (admissions.uniosun.edu.ng) and pay the screening fee (₦2,000).

  2. Upload Credentials: You upload your O’Level Result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) and JAMB details.

  3. Grading: The admission office evaluates your credentials. Your admission score is an aggregate of your JAMB score and your O’Level points.

    • Tip: Having A1s and B2s in your O’Level gives you a massive advantage over someone with C6s, even if they beat you in JAMB.

Important Admission Tips

  1. O’Level Upload: You MUST upload your O’Level results to JAMB CAPS. UNIOSUN will not admit any candidate with “Awaiting Result” status on CAPS once the merit list is released.

  2. Know Your Campus: Do not apply for Microbiology expecting to live in Ikire. Microbiology is in Osogbo. Do not apply for Accounting expecting to live in Osogbo; you will be in Okuku. Research the location of your course before applying.

  3. Change of Course: If you applied for Nursing with a score of 190, you are unlikely to get it. UNIOSUN often allows you to switch to Biology or Fisheries where your score is sufficient.
