Is it CRUTECH or UNICROSS?

Before we dive into the admission stats, let’s clear the confusion. The institution has been officially renamed the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS).

  • Why does this matter? While many students still search for “CRUTECH Cut-off Mark,” your admission letter and certificate will bear UNICROSS. The change reflects the university’s expansion beyond just “Technology” to include more comprehensive courses.

UNICROSS Cut Off Mark 2026/2027

If you are aiming for UNICROSS for the 2026/2027 academic session, you are choosing a university that is a heavy hitter in Engineering, Architecture, and Visual Arts. Operating a Multi-Campus System, the university brings education to every corner of the state. Below are the admission stats for the 2026/2027 academic year.

UNICROSS JAMB Cut Off Mark for All Courses

The school management has set the official and accepted UNICROSS JAMB cut-off mark for the 2026/2027 academic session at 140.

Important Reality Check:

  • The 140 Benchmark: This is the minimum score required to be eligible for the Post-UTME screening. Scoring 140 qualifies you to apply for most courses in Agriculture, Education, and Science.

  • The “Tech” Benchmark: UNICROSS is famous for Engineering. For courses like Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Architecture, a score of 140 is risky. You should aim for 160 to 180+ to be safe on the merit list.

  • First Choice Policy: UNICROSS generally requires you to choose them as your First Choice. If they are your Second Choice, you must do a Change of Institution immediately.
