To secure admission into Federal University Gusau, you need to understand their admission culture:

1. The Cut-Off Mark Reality

• General Cut-Off: FUGUS typically sets a friendly general cut-off of 150 – 160 for most Arts, Education, and Science courses.

• The “Health Science” Jump: Do not use 150 to apply for Medicine or Nursing.

  • Medicine (MBBS): You need 240+ to be safe on the Merit list.

  • Nursing / Physiotherapy: Aim for 200 – 220+.
