Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Does BSUM offer Nursing Science? Yes. Nursing Science is fully accredited. Do not confuse the University degree (B.NSc) with the Benue State College of Nursing, which offers Diplomas. The university offers the full degree.

Is BSUM name changed? Yes, technically. The State Government renamed it Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, but on JAMB CAPS and official admission portals, it often still appears as Benue State University, Makurdi. Search for both names if you are confused.

Does BSUM offer Cyber Security? As of the 2026/2027 session, BSUM does not list “Cyber Security” as a standalone degree. You should apply for Computer Science, where you can specialize in security modules.
