Official List of Courses Offered in Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA): Are you planning to study at the university “Properly Called”? If you have chosen Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA), located in the rocky hills of Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, you are targeting one of the most respected state universities in Nigeria.

To secure admission into AAUA, you need to understand their specific rules:

1. The “Indigene” Factor

• As a state university, AAUA gives a slight preference to candidates from Ondo State (Catchment Area).

• However, the Merit List (45% of admission) is open to all Nigerians. If you are not from Ondo, you need to score significantly higher than the departmental cut-off to be safe.

2. The Cut-Off Mark Reality

• General Cut-Off: AAUA usually sets a general cut-off of 160.

• Departmental Targets:

  • Law: You need 250 – 270+.

  • Nursing/Med Lab: Aim for 220 – 240+.

  • Computer Science/Mass Comm: Aim for 200+.

  • Education/Agric: 160+ is usually sufficient.

3. Direct Entry (DE)

• AAUA accepts JUPEB and Pre-Degree (from their own programme).

• National Diploma (ND): They accept Upper Credit. Lower Credit is rarely considered for competitive courses like Accounting or Law.
