FUDMA Postgraduate Admission Requirement

To access the application form for the FUDMA School of Postgraduate Studies, candidates must meet the following specific requirements:

1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
– Candidates must have passed English and Mathematics at the O’ level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) to meet matriculation requirements.
– Graduates who have obtained at least a third-class honors degree from the Federal University Dutsin-Ma or any other recognized university are eligible.
– Individuals holding a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a Lower Credit grade from recognized institutions qualify for admission.
– Holders of other qualifications, along with relevant field experience deemed acceptable by the University, may also apply.

2. Master’s Degree
– Candidates must have credits in English Language and Mathematics at the O’ level (e.g., WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).
– FUDMA graduates with an approved first degree and a Second Class Honours (Lower Division) are eligible.
– Candidates with a CGPA of 3.00 or higher or those with a CGPA between 2.40 and 2.99 who also have a minimum of three years of post-graduation experience are eligible.
– Candidates who have earned a Third-Class honors degree and have at least five years of post-graduation experience may apply.
– Applicants must possess a Postgraduate Diploma from the Federal University Dutsin-Ma or any recognized institution with a minimum pass at the credit level.
– Candidates whose degrees are unclassified but have an average grade of C or above are eligible to apply.
– Candidates with a Higher National Diploma (minimum credit) from recognized institutions and a Postgraduate Diploma (minimum pass at credit level) from the Federal University Dutsin-Ma in relevant areas qualify for admission.

3. Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Master’s by Research Degrees
– Graduates must have an approved first degree with at least a Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from the Federal University Dutsin-Ma or any other recognized institution.

4. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree
– Graduates must hold a Master’s Degree relevant to the proposed area of study from the Federal University Dutsin-Ma.

To register for the FUDMA postgraduate program for the 2025/2026 session, the candidate must meet the individual entry requirements of the respective programs and obtain an admission form. How to Apply for FUDMA Postgraduate Admission Form 2025/2026

Please go ahead with the steps below to register and initiate the application process:

1. Visit http://pgs.fudutsinma.edu.ng/apply and complete the following steps:
a. Enter your surname, last name, father’s name, or family name in the “Surname” field. Remember that this is a mandatory field.
b. In the “First Name” field, enter your first name/native name. This is also a mandatory field.
c. Fill in any other names you possess in the “Other Names” field.
d. Enter your active and current email address in the “Email” field. Verify that you will be required to verify this email, and all communication and notifications regarding your application will be sent to it. We recommend that you enter a personal, active email address from which you can be contacted at any given point in time. Use this email address for no other application.
e. Enter your present GSM number in the “Mobile No” box in the format 080X XXX XXXX. University officials will use this number to call you during the application process.
f. Select the faculty you are applying for in the “Faculty” dropdown. For faculties, departments, and programmes, proceed to http://spgs.fudutsinma.edu.ng.
g. Choose the program you would like to apply for from the “Program” dropdown. It is advisable to choose the faculty first before the program.
h. Click on “Start Application.”
i. You will receive a notification via the email account you used. The notification will have your “Application Number,” which you will be required to refer to during the application.

2. To activate your account, follow the following steps:
a. Log in to your email account.
b. Look for an email with the subject “Your Application Details” from “School of Postgraduate Studies.”
c. Open to visit the email (it may be in your spam folder).
d. Your “Application Number” and “Email” will be displayed in the email.
e. You will find a link to activate your account.
f. Activate your account by following the link. You will be redirected to the application portal outside your email account.
g. Your RRR account will be authenticated and opened, after which you will be directed to a page within the app portal to create your RRR.

3. Your payment will be verified, and you will receive notification via email when this is done. Be cautioned that you will not be allowed to complete the application form until this verification is done. You are therefore encouraged to observe the following to determine whether your payment has been verified:
a. Log in to your email account.
b. Look for an email with the title “Payment Confirmation” from “The School of Postgraduate Studies.”
c. This email guarantees you that you may now log in to continue with the application.
d. If you haven’t received the mail within a few minutes of processing the payment, log in to the application portal using your “Application Number” and “Email” to check if your payment has been successful.
e. If Payment Status is still “PENDING” despite your having paid, tap “Refresh Status” to check for payment. In case of non-confirmation of payment preventing you from continuing with your application, please email us at any one of the stated emails or call numbers.

4. After completing “Account Verification” (step 2 above) and “Payment Verification” (step 3 above), log in to the application portal using your “Application Number” and “Email” to continue your application.
