Important Admission Secrets for 2026/2027

1. JAMB Cut-Off Mark While the university often sets a general cut-off of 170, do not be deceived.

• Tier 1 Courses: For Medicine, Nursing, Law, and Medical Lab, you need to score 230 – 250+ to stand a chance on the Merit list.

• Tier 2 Courses: For Computer Science, Mass Comm, and Criminology, aim for 200+.

• Tier 3: For Agriculture, Arts, and Education, 170 – 180 is usually sufficient.

2. O-Level Requirements

• Two Sittings Allowed: FULAFIA accepts two sittings (WAEC/NECO) for most courses.

• The Mathematics Rule: You must have a Credit in Mathematics for all Science, Social Science, and Management courses.

• Medical Students: You must have Credits in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and English in ONE sitting to be safe for MBBS.

3. Direct Entry (DE)
