Important Admission Requirements for 2026/2027

To secure admission into Federal University Dutse, knowing the course is not enough. You must meet these specific criteria:

1. JAMB Cut-Off Mark

• General Score: FUD typically accepts 150 – 160 for most Agriculture, Science, and Education courses.

• Competitive Courses: For Medicine, Nursing, Cyber Security, and Criminology, a score of 160 will likely not get you in. You should aim for 200 – 240+ to stand a realistic chance on the Merit list.

2. O-Level Combinations

• You need 5 Credit passes in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB, including English and Mathematics.

• Medical/Science Students: You must have credits in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

• Important Note: FUD is very strict with the Physics requirement for Computer Science and other Tech courses.

3. Post-UTME Screening FUD usually conducts an Online Screening (Point-Based System) rather than a physical exam. This means your admission is calculated based on your JAMB score and your O’Level grades (A1 gives you more points than B2). Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal early!

Does FUD offer Law? No. As of the 2026/2027 academic session, Federal University Dutse does not have a Faculty of Law.

Does FUD offer Pharmacy? No. While they have Medicine and Nursing, Pharmacy is not yet listed as an accredited undergraduate program at FUD.
