Important Admission Requirements for 2026/2027

FUTMINNA is a specialized university, so they are very strict with their O-Level combinations.

1. The “Physics & Chemistry” Rule

• Because it is a University of Technology, almost every course (including Architecture and Agriculture) requires Credit in Physics and Chemistry.

• Warning: Do not apply for Computer Science without Physics. You will be disqualified.

2. Cut-Off Mark Reality

• Medicine & Nursing: Aim for 240 – 260+ in JAMB. These are new courses, but the rush is high.

• Cyber Security & Computer Science: Aim for 220+.

• Engineering Courses: Aim for 200+.

• Agriculture & Education: 150 – 160 is usually sufficient.

3. Direct Entry (DE)

• FUTMINNA accepts IJMB, JUPEB, and ND (Upper Credit).

• Note: Lower Credit in ND is rarely accepted for competitive engineering courses.

Is Medicine accredited in FUTMINNA? Yes. The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the establishment of the medical college. However, as a new program, facilities are still being expanded.
