UNIMAID Postgraduate Admission Requirement

To obtain the application form for the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) School of Postgraduate Studies, candidates must meet specific requirements, outlined as follows:

1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
– Candidates must have passed English and Mathematics at the O’Level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) to fulfill matriculation requirements.

– Graduates with a Third-Class honors degree and a minimum of five years of post-graduation experience can also apply.
– Applicants must possess a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Maiduguri or any recognized institution, with at least a pass at the credit level.
– Degree holders whose qualifications are unclassified but have an average grade of C or above are eligible.
– Candidates require a Higher National Diploma (minimum credit) from recognized institutions, along with a Postgraduate Diploma (minimum pass at credit level) in relevant areas.

3. Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) and Master’s by Research Degrees
– Graduates with an approved first degree classified as at least Second-Class Honours (Upper Division) from the University of Maiduguri or other recognized institutions are eligible.
– Candidates with a Second-Class Honours degree and substantial relevant industrial experience may also apply.

4. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree
