MAUTECH Postgraduate Admission Requirement

To obtain the application form for the MAUTECH School of Postgraduate Studies, applicants must meet specific requirements, which are as follows:

1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
– Candidates must have passed English and Mathematics at the O’ level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) to fulfill matriculation requirements.
– Graduates must possess at least a third-class honors degree from Modibbo Adama University of Technology or any other recognized university.
– Individuals holding a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a Lower Credit grade from recognized institutions are eligible.

2. Master’s Degree

– MAUTECH graduates must possess an approved first-degree with at least a Second Class Honours (Lower Division) or a CGPA of 3.00 or higher, or a CGPA between 2.40 and 2.99 along with three years of post-graduation experience.
– Candidates with a Third Class honors degree and at least five years of post-graduation experience are eligible to apply.
– Applicants must possess a Postgraduate Diploma from Modibbo Adama University of Technology or any recognized institution with at least a pass at the credit level.
– Candidates whose degrees are unclassified but have an average grade of C or above are also eligible to apply.
– Candidates with a Higher National Diploma (minimum credit) from recognized institutions and a Postgraduate Diploma (minimum pass at credit level) from Modibbo Adama University of Technology in relevant areas can apply.

3. Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) and Master’s by Research Degrees
– Graduates must have obtained an approved first degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from Modibbo Adama University of Technology or another recognized institution.
– A Second Class Honours degree with substantial and relevant industrial experience is also required.

4. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree
– Graduates must have obtained a Master’s Degree relevant to their proposed areas of study from Modibbo Adama University of Technology.
