FUOYE Postgraduate Admission Requirement

To obtain the application form for the FUOYE School of Postgraduate Studies, you must meet specific requirements:

1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
– Pass English and Mathematics at the O’ level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
– Hold at least a third-class honors degree from Federal University Oye-Ekiti or any other recognized university.
– Have a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a Lower Credit grade from a recognized institution.
– Hold any other qualifications along with relevant field experience that the University considers acceptable.

2. Master’s Degree
To be eligible for a Master’s program, candidates must:
– Have credits in English Language and Mathematics at the O’ level (e.g., WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).
– Be FUOYE graduates with a first degree and a second-class honors (Lower Division).

– Possess a Postgraduate Diploma from Federal University Oye-Ekiti or any recognized institution with at least a pass at the credit level.
– Have a degree that is unclassified but averages a grade of C or above.
– Hold a Higher National Diploma (minimum credit) and a Postgraduate Diploma (minimum pass at credit level) in relevant areas.

3. Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Master’s by Research Degrees
Applicants must:
– Hold an approved first degree with at least a Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from Federal University Oye-Ekiti or other recognized institutions.
– Have a Second Class Honours degree accompanied by a substantial amount of relevant industrial experience.

4. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree

Step-by-Step Registration Instructions

Step 1:
Log in to http://spgs.fuoye.edu.ng/application-portal.

Step 2:
On the Admission Menu displayed on the right-hand side, click on “Registration Steps” and read the instructions carefully.

Step 3:
If you are a new applicant, click on “New Applicant” to create a new profile. Upon successful creation, you will receive an “Application Number,” which is required to log in and complete the application process.

Step 4:
You will need to provide the following information:
1. Valid Phone Number
2. Valid Email Address
3. Nationality
4. Religion
5. Date of Birth
6. Academic Qualifications
7. Scan Copies of your Original Credentials
8. O-Level Results with a minimum of two (2) sittings

Note: Ensure you use a valid email address and phone number that can be contacted if needed. Always check your email for updates and information.

Step 5:
After updating your information, a confirmation link will be sent to the email address you provided. Log in to your email and click on the account activation link to verify your email account and registration details.

Step 6:
Once verification is complete, log in again and click on the “Upload O’Level Results” link on the left-hand side of the screen to complete your registration. Select the number of sittings and enter all the subjects and grades accordingly. After completion, click on the “Complete Registration” button, then confirm by clicking “OK” on the message dialog box.

Step 7:
You will be prompted to pay your Application Fee and Portal Service Charge of N15,000.

Step 8:
Please select the Remita Payment Platform. You will be asked to confirm the transaction; simply click “OK” to proceed.

Payment Instructions:

1. To initiate payment, complete the required form and activate your account as needed. Click on the small circle on the right side with a pointing finger to proceed.
2. On the payment confirmation page, you will find your transaction details, including transaction reference, amount to pay, service being paid for, etc.
3. Click on the “Remita Proceed” button to be redirected to Remita, where you can pay using any of the available channels, including debit or credit cards, internet banking, mobile wallet, or bank branch.
4. After successful online payment, you will be redirected back to the portal to continue with the service.
5. If an alternative payment channel was used (bank branch or internet banking), you are required to log back into the portal to proceed with obtaining the service.
6. If the response is successful, navigate back to the service you paid for to continue.

Step 9:
Confirm your payment information again and click on the “Make Payment” button to proceed.

Step 10:
Enter your ATM card details:
1. Select your ATM card type (e.g., Verve or MasterCard).
2. Enter your card number (found on the front side of the card).
3. Enter the card expiry date and the card CVV2 (the 3 digits on the reverse side of the card).
4. Enter your card PIN.
5. Click on the “Pay” button when you are done.

Note: Do not refresh your browser while the process is ongoing to avoid multiple deductions from your account. If nothing is displayed after 10 minutes, close the browser and restart the process. An email containing the receipt of the transaction will be sent to your email.

Step 11:
After payment, proceed to complete your application by clicking on “Complete Application” in your account menu.
